The ICT Institute started in 2010 a series of cross-disciplinary seminars on leading-edge research topics.

The third series will start in March 2012. The program is online.

The ICT Institute (http://ictinstitute.polimi.it/) coordinates all the ICT activities which take place at Politecnico di Milano – education, research, technology transfer, and spin-offs. It includes the Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione – one of the largest European ICT departments, the School of Information Engineering, the CEFRIEL Consortium, and 9 spin-off companies. Overall, it has more than three hundred professors and researchers and about six thousand students – ranging from bachelor to master, PhD and PostDoc levels.
The ICT Institute aim is to cover the entire innovation path from basic research to product/service prototyping and technology transfer, with research areas spanning over a broad spectrum – including computer engineering, electronics, telecommunications, and automation and control.

The aim of the ICT Institute Seminars of the Politecnico di Milano is to create opportunities at an international level for discussions on leading edge research topics for both the academic and industrial world. The meetings are open to researchers, professionals and students.
